Supported by CrossRoads – Interreg Vlaanderen-Nederland
With CrossRoads, Interreg Vlaanderen-Nederland, VLAIO Team Business Trajectories, Economic Impulse Zeeland, REWIN, the Brabant Development Agency, LIOF, and InnovationQuarter aim to give a significant boost to the existing potential in the border region by supporting SMEs in their search for the perfect partner across the border and subsidizing their joint innovations.
Since July 2024, Heliovision and Mushroom Office have teamed up for an innovative development in the mushroom grower market. Worldwide, white and brown mushrooms are cultivated in special growing cells, as seen in the blue trays from the supermarket. The cultivation of mushrooms is a very delicate and strictly monitored process, closely followed by experienced growers. A mushroom that opens up and loses its spores has much lower market value than a closed mushroom. So, it’s crucial to harvest at the right moment. With the help of Heliovision’s camera vision software and the market and product knowledge of Mushroom Office, a solution is being sought to map the quality of mushroom growth in the CrossRoads project "Mushroom Vision."
